New House for Kids in Peru

Five years ago Planeterra and Gap Adventures embarked on a journey to raise $150,000 to purchase a house that would act as a safe haven for children that live in extreme poverty in Peru. On October 1st the doors opened to the children of Cuzco and today we can proudly announce that our dream is now a reality. This accomplishment is a major breakthrough for our community development and volunteer programs in Peru and gives children of Cuzco the tools, confidence and support they need to break the cycle of poverty enabling them to create full and meaningful lives.
